WPO BOARD MEETINGS
(June 4th and 5th)

The World Packaging Organisation is a non-profit, non-governmental, international federation of national packaging institutes and associations, regional packaging federations and other interested parties including corporations and trade associations. WPO currently has members from 48 countries from all parts of the world and their representatives meet twice per year on a regular basis. The meetings are divided into Working Groups which discuss current issues and Board Meeting that confirms conclusions and presents the achieved results. Board members vote for all key decisions.

During June 4th and June 5th, Executive Board Meetings and WPO Board Meetings were held in Split, presenting the latest accomplishments in the work field of the WPO, as well as the projections for the upcoming period. The WPO works under the motto "Better quality of life through better packaging for more people", accomplishing through it the main goal - being the point of reference and source of knowledge for the world packaging community, nurturing the values of packaging as a strategic tool on a social, economic and commercial level.
